Name and Designation: RiftRunner BioMech Armor

Purpose: To enhance the wearers natural abilities as well as allowing the armor to control the living Riftrunner Weapon

Description:
Armor: Made of a special living metal alloy that is alien to our galaxy it is impervious to bullets and is capable of withstanding certain low-powered laser and plasma weapons.
Armaments: Super Cutter- a miniature laser fired from the head/faceplate area of the armor.
Frequency Blades- Blades that adjust to the specific frequency of a target making straight, clean, deep gashes. They can retract and protrude from either the elbows or the wrists.
Rift Crusher- A large blast fired by opening the chest plates it is similar to a miniature nuclear blast. This move drains the armor and causes it to retract for long amounts of time. The blast may also be dangerous to the host.
Equipment: Sensors- Extra sensors in the helmet allow the host to avoid ambushes.
Riftrunner Plugs- Plugs are located in the head and torso. The Riftrunner “mech” can jack-in to these plugs to have the host’s assistance in battle.
Symbiotic link- A special link bonds the armor to both the host and the Riftrunner weapon causing any pain experienced the living weapon feels to be felt by the suit’s host. This link also allows the “mech” to be controlled psychically and allows the “mech” to be piloted internally by the host.
Production History: Discovered in a possible future where the forces of evil have left the Earth in ruins the living metal armor is the key to controlling the living mech the Riftrunner, an ancient alien bio-weapon designed to battle kaiju. It is made for beings with higher brain capacities that can control the mechanical psychosis, a result of bonding to the symbiotic armor. When bonded to a human the armor’s intelligence slowly begins to take control of the host, changing his entire personality. Side effects include increased violence, dramatic and sudden mood changes, and lapses of time in which the host has no recollection of his or her actions. Special medication designed to hamper the effects has been made into both digestible capsules and injections although they only deter the inevitable.
Capable of controlling the Riftrunner from the inside, massive connections “jack-in” to the suit’s conduits, hijacking the thought and nervous centers of the host enabling it to battle with intelligence and grace. The machine becomes an extension of the armor’s host. It is rumored that the machine also uses the host’s naturally generated electricity as a type of battery, but these rumors are unconfirmed.
Outside of the Riftrunner it acts as viable protection for the host and may link telepathically to the Riftrunner, controlling it from without, but to a much lesser extent. This type of control still allows the Riftrunner to be a formidable combatant, but it limits the strategies and intelligence the weapon gains from being jacked in to the suit.
